AC Milan 2-3 Man Utd

The best match this week, although I only saw two in full. It swayed between Milan's superb start and Rooney's clinical finishes at the end. Ronaldinho was superb and dominated the game early in the first-half. A great assist for Seedorf in the second-half . Rooney finished off two good crosses and showed Milan how to finish off perfectly. Something Milan lacked in the first-half.

Lyon 1-0 Real Madrid

A game which will surprise many as Real Madrid seem to be the favourites yet, Lyon seemed to dominate and could have won by a greater margin. Hugo Lloris showed himself to once again be the world-class keeper he is touted as. Jean Makoun's first-half strike was a perfect strike which spun into the top corner.

Porto 2-1 Arsenal

A bad day for the Gunners, or particularly Lukas Fabianski. His errors were awful and gave Porto a win which they perhaps didn't really deserve. Arsenal could have had a penalty too when Rosicky was tripped. Arsenal's passing was poor though and they seemed to lose a little momentum after Porto's winning goal. The second-leg should be interesting now to see how Wenger's men respond.

Bayern Munich 2-1 Fiorentina

A game overshadowed by a winning goal which shouldn't have been given. Mentioned below. Robben seemed very good but despite a good performance Fiorentina were very unlucky to lose in this manner. They also had Massimo Gobbi sent off, who seemed to find dealing with Robben quite tricky. Bayern's defending for the Fiorentina goal was not convincing at all. Next leg is very hard to call.
