Champions League Previews:

Lyon v Real Madrid:

A few seasons ago these two teams met in this competition and Lyon came through winners in what was a standout result. This season however I would think a repeat is not so likely. Lyon are not in great form. Real Madrid though are improving and should have enough to win this over two games.

First-leg: Lyon 1-2 Real Madrid

AC Milan v Manchester United:

This should be a great great game, after a much improved middle of the season AC Milan have turned their season around. This game will really test how far they have come under Leonardo. Three seasons ago these teams met in two great contests, the first being at Old Trafford ending 3-2 to United. That night it was a battle between Kaka and Rooney. Now the attention turns to Beckham although perhaps more thought should be about how Utd will deal with Pato. He more then anyone else has the pace and touch to trouble their defence. United will come through this and I wouldn't be surprised if it is comprehensively.

First-leg: AC Milan 0-1 Man Utd

Bayern Munich v Fiorentina:

Another team similar to Milan who have improved after a poor start to the season and are now level on points with Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. Fiorentina are not in great form although this often does not count for much with Champions League, Bayern will go through.

First-leg: Bayern Munich 2-0 Fiorentina

FC Porto v Arsenal:

This will should be a challenge for Arsenal. Porto have done well in the last few years in the Champions League and although they have lost some of their best players, they should prove difficult to beat at home. Arsenal though will be confident after winning against Liverpool last week and having a whole week off since which should be to their advantage. Porto's star is Hulk a striker that caused Manchester United all sorts of problems last year.

First-leg: Porto 1-1 Arsenal
