Ah, what a night. Everton and Aston Villa's results against Chelsea and Man utd respectively has perhaps reopened the title race. Arsenal are now only six points behind the league leaders Chelsea and have a fairly easy run-in. Whereas Chelsea and Man Utd have to play each other and have a few other tricky fixtures.
Although Arsenal were hardly cohesive tonight, they got the all important three points and can now go through a weekend of FA Cup action with a little more confidence that they may yet get something from this season. If they win all their remaining games which is not beyond belief as they have some good fixtures left, they could be celebrating come May 9th. Wenger may though as many will agree regret not having bought another striker. In Bendtner they have a striker who can hardly keep the ball and Eduardo who has a hamstring problem currently, meaning much reliance is placed on the midfielders. Theo Walcott needs to improve and Andrei Arshavin too needs to contribute more in terms of goals if they are to get any silverware.
